I read these wonderful comments of my visitors and than realized that a really had used the wrong picture. Well .... I have to revise this one, but I am not going to delete this picture and the haiku. I will place the correct photo here and write a new contribution.
ankle chimes
listen to the movement
of the young dancer
a ballerina
dances through the streets
sound of chimes
sound of chimes
through the midsummer night
fading away
See you tomorrow for another challenging haiku day.

I don't know if this is the right Photo, but ... I have used this one to write a new contribution to the Haiku Challenge.
at sunrise
trees waving in the cool breeze
another hot day
another hot day
I am looking for shade
under the willow
under the willow
I laid down my tired head
dreaming sunrises

The picture image is different though..I think you can still revise the post ;-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous set!
ReplyDelete"dreaming sunrises" I like that and I like your other Haiku. Even though I used a different picture :-)
ReplyDeleteNot the right photo (I sympathise: I have difficulty with the haiku challenge blog - there's so much of it and it is so clunky to load!)
ReplyDeleteBut who cares: your haiku are gorgeous!
Lovely set of haiku even though you used the wrong photo, at first. He he! As Vivinfrance said "who cares - your haiku are gorgeous!"
ReplyDeleteYou are a fountain of delightful Haiku ... for both images ... right photographer! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the addition ... I was looking forward to your interpretation ... I was not disappointed. :) Here is my Day 22.
Nice flow of haiku.....It's good that you made a mistake...we could read haiku on two pictures.....:D
ReplyDeleteLove your dreaming under the willow.
ReplyDeleteLove the dancer haiku also..the last one is my favorite. :)
Yes, I enjoyed them all and both the pictures :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the first one with your found image. Beautiful. The other is good also.
ReplyDeleteYou simply got carried away with images and painting them in words! Lovely, both sets!
ReplyDeletePainted Images here and here
Dude, all of your haiku were exceptional. Good job with both images.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I like the clever interchange of the descriptive word, young dancer - ballerina, etc.
ReplyDeleteClever stuff!
"who cares ~ your haiku is gorgeous" ~ truly and heartily :-)
ReplyDeleteinteresting how you also picked the anklets. i totally ignored them.
ReplyDeletenice.
