Hello visitors,
I was searching for a Tuesday challenge, but couldn't find one. So I made my own, using Mister Linky. I introduce to you Tackle It Tuesday.
Tackle It Tuesday is meant to be for writing haiku with a given prompt. Maybe you know Haiku Heights, well Tackle It Tuesday is just like that. Maybe it will not be a success, but I love to try.
The prompt for today is: RAINDROPS.
You can contribute your haiku in the classical- or Kanshicho-style 'till Monday May 14th midnight hour. Be part of it ...
Have fun!

ReplyDeleteBravo -- and what fun!! Love your first choice!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnother Haiku challenge will be fun. Thanks for hosting. I have posted my link.
ReplyDeleteKris, I hope you will allow kanschicho style on your blog? It is less restrictive.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to see how this new challenge "Tackle It Tuesday" has started.
ReplyDelete"Tackle It Tuesday" will give you the possibility to write your haiku on a given prompt. And ... please if you would like to use the so called Kanshicho-style (the not so strict form without the 5-7-5 count) be my guest.
I myself write my haiku mostly in the Kanshicho-style so why should I forbid that you, my dear visitors, could not use that style?
Feel free to write your haiku in the classical way, but also in the Kanshicho way.
I hope you all will find the way to "Tackle It Tuesday" every week. Thank you all for being part of this new haiku challenge.
Namaste
