Tackle It Tuesday

Hello visitors,

I was searching for a Tuesday challenge, but couldn't find one. So I made my own, using Mister Linky. I introduce to you Tackle It Tuesday.

Tackle It Tuesday is meant to be for writing haiku with a given prompt. Maybe you know Haiku Heights, well Tackle It Tuesday is just like that. Maybe it will not be a success, but I love to try.

The prompt for today is: RAINDROPS.

You can contribute your haiku in the classical- or Kanshicho-style 'till Monday May 14th midnight hour. Be part of it ...

Have fun!

Kris, I hope you will allow kanschicho style on your blog? It is less restrictive.

I am so happy to see how this new challenge "Tackle It Tuesday" has started.
"Tackle It Tuesday" will give you the possibility to write your haiku on a given prompt. And ... please if you would like to use the so called Kanshicho-style (the not so strict form without the 5-7-5 count) be my guest.
I myself write my haiku mostly in the Kanshicho-style so why should I forbid that you, my dear visitors, could not use that style?
Feel free to write your haiku in the classical way, but also in the Kanshicho way.

I hope you all will find the way to "Tackle It Tuesday" every week. Thank you all for being part of this new haiku challenge.

Namaste

I have only just discovered this meme! So delighted! I have added it to my Memeaholics blog. I will join in on the next round!

I was also surprised to find that you have a widget to one of my ex students' blogs. He has embarked on a drama career with a main focus on stage lighting. But still he writes! He will be so thrilled to know you have linked to his world!

I know many people who would like to join in the cause!

And an extra special thank you for a feature on your blog. It's very inspiring to see a brilliant writer supporting the younger ones!

Looking forward to the future :)

Wondering if there is a 'prompt word' for tomorrow for Tackle It Tues?

I think I might be too late to partake in the prompt on raindrops. I am not sure where to post a haiku on your site so I am posting it in the comment here.

Chestnut blossoms

after a deluge
sparkling raindrops
clasped in pink blossoms
