Buttercups

This haiku is written in response of the Carpe Diem Haiku Kai prompt ''buttercups''. Carpe Diem is a daily haiku-meme and I am hosting it. This month all the prompts are modern kigo (seasonwords) for summer and this month (June) was really a joyfull CDHK month with a lot of nice prompts and wonderful haiku contributed by the visitors and members of CDHK.
CDHK ... feel free to visit and participate. It's a warm and loving haiku-family ....

the day ends
buttercups share their golden light -
the moon rises

Hello, mine host. :-) Your haiku has a sense of peace about it and brings to mind that time just as day turns to night. Lovely.

I'm afraid I went a bit rogue today, but you did say to have fun.

I think I found some white ones by my creek this morning :)

Nice when you post a link, we can visit and leave comments - well we can always leave comments in the post too. :)

I found out some interesting information about the butter cup -
not safe for cows to eat. I added a nursery rhyme and a link to my post.

It is good to be home :)

Hello Host. This is my first visit to your blog prompt. I loved the feeling of oneness among the writers and the way, you introduce the prompt. It seems like a well knit family.

Would the sun shine if there were no buttercups?

Gorgeous - the sun being passed to the buttercups and then being passed on to the moon - this is exquisite! :)
