The Haiku Challenge, day 25

Today's challenge, write a haiku with the theme or word "cult" and the haiku form I have to use is 3-5-3. This is a complete different scheme as is common for haiku. Haiku, in the classical form has three sentences of 5-7-5 syllables. So this will be a tough challenge. No ... that's bullsh.., because I write in the so called Kanshicho style. That style has no strictly rules for the syllables. So this must be "a piece of cake" for me. I hope so.
Well ... I had to search for the definition of cult and for synonyms for cult. The meaning of cult "group sharing belief" and I found the following synonyms: body; church; clan; faith; following; religion; persuasion. A long row of synonyms which I can use for today's challenge.
This is tougher than I thought.

Honeysuckle
can be wonderful -
persuasion

my religion
faith of Mother Earth
blooming plum

the old church
a shelter for the storm -
the butterflies

See you again tomorrow, for another challenge day :-)

Not an easy subject to write a haiku on but I am impressed at how inspired you can be to come out with 3! Very lovely to read you.

Thank you so much for your kind comments at my post yesterday.

Have a great day!

campfires

"Campfires" is (here) a -local- metaphor, for a "klatch" of people that sit around a campfire and enjoy each others company; it, a clannish setting of course.

I'm so over-whelmed to read all the three Haiku.

The first one 'Honeysuckle persuasion' simple made that magical aura..
The second one 'Blooming pulp my faith in mother Earth..' so earthy and I could connect it so well. I could feel it every word of that haiku that trust!!

The third one is one of my favorite. I'm almost lost is the beauty of picture that Haiku shows while reading it. An old Church...sure a shelter from storm of nature & a storm sometimes we see in our inner soul..wow!!! finally the words the butterflies absolutely amplify everything rest left in this world...

I'm still not sure how you would have perceived this Haiku but to me reading that haiku was almost equivalent of being a part of Chapel!!!!
Loved every bit of it!!!!
So blessed to have read it!!!
Thank you so much for sharing it!

I am convinced you can write in any style of Haiku ... you delivered an amazing perspective of cult - in a delightful way. Enjoyed each one, and I cannot determine a favorite at this time. Thank you for sharing ~~ Here is my Day 25.
