Haiku Heights, desert

Inspired by the theme at

deserted streets
civil wars all over the world -
no more joy at all

no more joy at all
lost and alone in the desert
just the moon and I

" just the moon and I" So wonderfully descriptive. I've had just that experience in the Arizona desert

I would love to be alone with the moon in the desert. Sounds lovely.

Read in its context being alone with the moon is a terrible thought. In another context it could be lovely.
