September Heights, day 22 birth

Inspired by the theme at

Ah! Birth ... what a wonderful prompt, but not an easy one to write a haiku about. Well ... I have to try of course I can't allow myself to skip a day ... (smiles).

what a wonder
Mother Earth gives birth
to a new Spring

what a wonder
being there when my child was born -
tears of joy

what a wonder
giving birth to a new haiku
every day again

A New Spring
Well ... it was a tough one to write, but ... well enjoy the read.

I like the three different births you listed. They are all wonderful.

Each of your poems is wonderful today! I especially loved the last one - a bit of a surprise but so true!

What a wonder indeed! I have had the privilege of being present at a birth. I never expected it ti affect me like it did. I was reduced to mush. You must have been oevr the top when your child was born.

A happy set. A new Spring is almost tautology, yet each one is different, and that season often feels like being re-born.

The wonder of it all! A child born is such glory. And you integrated it wonderfully with the theme.

It's such a joy when things go our way. And Mother Earth never fails minor hiccups but never fail! Nicely Chev!

What joy to watch a child born. I was a proxy for my friend's husband who was abroad for the birth of their first child. I will never forget the sheer awe I experienced and the raw emotion it invokes.

This prompt inspired me to start (give birth to) Carpe Diem, my new daily haiku meme.
